Application for admission should be made in the prescribed form by parents or guardians who are responsible, to the head of the school for the pupil’s conduct, punctuality, regular attendance, progress in studies, transport and payment of fees. A child must be three and a half years old (as on 1st June of the school year), before she / he is admitted to the lower kindergarten. No child who has not completed five and half years as on first June of the school year will be considered for admission to class 1. The corresponding scale of age is fixed for the successive classes. The decision of the school authorities regarding the admission is final. A child who joins the school for the first time must produce an official birth certificate as evidence to the date of birth. Pupils seeking admission to higher classes may be tested on the syllabus of the standard below the one for which they seek admission. Admission to school is granted after test and strictly on merit. A child coming from another school must produce transfer certificate from the school last attended.
